Permanent and Full Time Multi Trades Supervisor Post (40 hours a week)

Salary Grade 7 £35,970 – £41,091

We are seeking to employ an experienced, qualified and highly skilled Multi Trades Supervisor for our Govan HOME Team subsidiary.

Reporting directly to the Head of HOME Team, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective supervision of the work of a team of trades, covering a wide range of reactive repairs, void and Planned works, delivering a high quality service which meets customer aspirations and remains in line with the Group objectives and business plan.

You’ll actively manage and monitor value for money, performance and quality standards, reviewing the effectiveness of our multi trades works and providing vital support to our contract management in order to promote continuous improvement and development. You’ll collaborate closely with suppliers, colleagues and customers’, making sure that the service is delivered to standard, on time and within budget and continually developed to reach their potential.

You’ll be an experienced Supervisor with extensive repairs, maintenance and planned contract experience within a multi-trade environment. To do the job well, you’ll also need excellent communication skills, organisational ability and a keen eye for detail. You will have supervisory experience, a strong understanding of all repairs and maintenance work and a desire to deliver high quality work, customer satisfaction and value for money.

A driving licence is essential for this post.

Job Type: Full-time, Fixed Term 1 year Contract.  Govan based

Salary £32,875 – £33,936

Normal working hours – 40 hours a week

Govan HOME Team Ltd, which is part of the Govan Housing Association Group, requires a quality Electrician to join them team.  The main objective of the role is to deliver Govan Housing’s re-wiring upgrade contract in occupied properties. Working as part of the Govan Home team’s electrical resource to ensure the contract is delivered on programme. However, the role may require other electrical tasks as identified by the Head of Home team and the Electrical Supervisor.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Qualified to the IET Wiring Regulations, Eighteenth Edition, BS 7671:2018
  • Maintenance and fault finding experience with strong testing abilities in order to locate, diagnose and rectify faults in strict timescales.
  • Electrical inspection, testing and condition reporting in line with local reporting targets and service level agreements.
  • A clean driving licence is essential.
  • A friendly approach to the associations tenants customers and client team. With an ability to resolve any repairs/work delivery issues with the end user.
