We are aware that bin collections within the Glasgow area including Govan are running behind schedule .
Bin collection is the responsibility of Glasgow City Council however, Govan Home Team have been working over the past week to try and assist with rubbish collection from back courts, but due to the volume of waste this is becoming very challenging.
We are currently engaging with Glasgow City Council and local MSP to try and alleviate this situation as soon as possible.
This is a Glasgow wide issue and Glasgow City Council are encouraging residents to report non collection of bins via their portal https://my.glasgow.gov.uk/
